Hi Sanjeev, cool looking character, glad to see you got one of these, they are great, but certainly do not hang around.

I really like the position of him/her surfacing out of the hole, with the tail disappearing in, the body posture, raised front leg and the look to camera, nice work. I don't think the detail/sharpness is a good as the previous image, is this cropped at all? I think you could afford to drop some yellow overall and perhaps crop in just a little tighter, not much, but I personally feel there is just a little too much space above and loosing a little off the RHS, in that way the dark mark is also lost in the BKG.

Nice to see one of these cuties, obviously hanging around its den where it is relatively easy to get good images, as they are always curious when within their safety zone.

For me the problem here is the direction of light and the harsh shadow, nothing you could do about that. I remember posting an image of three of these posing nicely on a log, but that was back in 2009.

    Hi Sanjeev,
nice image with lesser quality as the previuos posting.Could be the harsh light ,that made more difficult for proper PP work.

Under the lighting conditions you managed to get a half way decent shot.

Agree with Steve about the cropping.

    Cheers Andreas
