ISO 2500...that's very impressive. Lovely shot Satish, beautiful color and complimented by the backdrop, my only thought worth mentioning is the broken branch on the left hand side, crop it out maybe

    Hi Satish,
Beautiful bird. Good HA and feather detail. Nice BG also. Still a bit noisy like your last post. Maybe loosen up your crops a little. Just looked at your techs. Your shooting at ISO 2500 to get 7.1.
Your giving up image quality. I would stay at ISO 800-1000 max on the 550. Once you hit 640-800 you should be wide open. I do the same on the 7D and ISO 1600-2500 max on the MKIV.
    Hope This helps.

    Hi Satish,
    Great advice from David.
I love the mottled colors in the BG and how beautifully it compliments the bird. I would do another round of NR.
Love the raised crest as well.
Is this a big crop as the IQ is lacking a bit?

Very well balanced comp, great colours, perch, BG, subject all come together nicely. Some more NR to the BG would be good, and I like what David has suggested techs-wise.

    Thank you David,
This picture was taken in valley, where light reaches very late.Beside that the bird was shot at 310mm at a distance of 4.5m.
Even at F7.1 head details and sharpness are not up to the mark(IMHO),so going for wide-open aperture was out of question.

Hi Satish, good pose, and Im amazed how well the head and body colours are defined so neatly, as if painted. I like the placement, lovely colours in the BG, and some NR there wont harm the image.

Great color palette, and detail on the bird. I se a little halo around the birds head or face area. Could just be the white in the bg?

    Hi Satish

I really liked this image and the bird. Lovely colors and complimenting BG. For ISO 2500 this looks excellent. IQ is not top but is still good.

I quickly tried to address couple of issues (NR on BG and slightly toned down shine on beak) and here is re post:

    Hello Cheryl.
Thanks for your comments and regarding halo around the face.I have checked the raw image,
and you are right there is halo ( white line but not noticeable) near the neck but not around the face.I will reprocess it again.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Bird and BG look great. Perch is a bit plain but still a nice image. Repost didn't help this image IMHO.
