    I like it - the bird is outlined well against the background, with the head and yellow bill particularly prominent. The white is well rendered, just short of clipping. The fish is definitely in mid-air and not contacting the bill.

    Hello Karen, lots to like in this image. Nice job on the timing to get this capture, it really tells the story. Good control of the whites, nice detail and color and techs are solid. I would paint out that bright little stripe in the upper right. Love the action! Nice one.

    Nice catch! The only suggestion I can make is to dodge the shadows on the fish to make it a bit clearer.

    Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I was very happy to luck out with the timing of this. I did dodge the fish a bit. I didn't want to overdo it, but I can try to see if it can take some more without looking too processed.
