This was taken on a overcast and rainy day. I just waited patiently for this beauty to inch closer.
It was right at the edge of the road. As usual the cars and honking didn't make any difference to it.
But, as soon as I got a little close to it started to play hard to get (Me and Murphy's Law) .........

I have tried to keep the composition to thirds tending to the right. This I did to give more emphasis to the worm
in the beak. Waiting to hear all your comments. Thanks in Advance.

great shot, nice feather detail and perfect BG
i would have prefered more space on the right (in front) and less on the left and top

    Hi Ishmeet,

Beautiful capture. Love the details, sharpness, light and BG. The worm is a big plus. But I am agree with Randy about crop.

    Great bird and BG.
Another vote for putting the bird on the left!
Worm is great as are the visible feet.
I see a bit of noise in dark areas of wing feathers,
    Gail

What a beautiful bird, love the white eyebrow. Bonus prey item is always a good thing. Lots of nice details. I like the simple setting of subject, perch, and background, but you needed to point your lens down and right IMO.

Sweet bird, great composition especially with the worm, such a nice shade of blue and contrasting nicely against the backdrop, sharp detail, but yes a little noise showing through here and there and agree regarding more space on the right

Great looking Bird. Nice exposure and detail. Smooth BG also. One more for down and to the right.

    Ishmeet,

A very fine looking bird, great capture. I tend to agree with everybody's comments in that moving the bird to the left would produce a better balanced image

Very nice shot. I really like the pose, excellent background, superb detail, great perch, and agree on adding more in front of it.
    Well done.

    Ishmeet,

Not wishing to be to "picky" I think a further move left would improve as I think the bird is still a little too centered in the frame.

Sharp with nice soft light and colours. I see some noise in the shadows. Would present it as a vertical with the bird closer to the left.
