This might just be a domestic goose. The orange eye border (supracilium?) is not a feature of Snow Geese, plus the lower bill doesn't have a dark "grin patch".

ID aside, this is a great bird behavior photo, from an unusual angle (staring down its gullet). The bird is disheveled, which seems unusual. It seems hostile. Is it on a nest? I like the focus showing the eyes and the upper bill/ palate ridges. Splendid background blur, makes bird's head pop out and enables viewer to distinguish the sharp pale green bird iris from the blurred pale green background

You have the whites nicely exposed and the pose is really cool. FYI, the bird is actually a domesticated Graylag Goose, not a Snow Goose.

Randy, you managed to nail the exposure and the pose is wonderful. TFS!

Hi Randy, nice work on the exposure - whites are nicely capped at 245 which is right where I like to see them. I like the different pose and down-the-barrel look! I would take the time to expel the bits of grass in the lower left corner, I think it would make the image stronger. Good job!
