Upside down, and around

I was photographing hummingbirds at Huntington Central Park in Huntington Beach when this Anna's hummingbird made an unexpected move.



700mm ISO 200 F8 @ 1/250 sec. sync flash with better beamer. I would have preferred some more room on the bottom.

for some reason, i liked the blurr here a lot.

Now that is an unusual pose. :) The setting and BG look good. I would give it more space and if the head and bill were sharper it would have put it over the top.

Thanks Axel! This was a reaction shot, and I was not fast enough. I was quite happy that I managed to get the full wing in the frame. I may try and add some space to the bottom when I'm feeling more ambitious. Thanks for your comments!
