Was Just sitting watching me without a care in the world.. Wondering about the sharpness? Not much was applied, It seems to reflect what I saw though my lens, though I debate in this age of super sharp photos, should it be sharpened more?

    Hey Marcus,
Very nice image, love the colors and details on your owl, the eyes are nice and sharp, and the light blue background compliments your subject very well...:) For my taste, you need to off center your bird...

Wonderful image of a Short-eared Owl.....during the day. I've only seen them at dusk.....and in pretty dreary weather. Nice eye contact as well. I agree with Gus about moving it off center. Was this one a large crop? I go back and forth as to how much USM to use. I think a little more on this one would be fine.
