    It has been too long, but I am looking forward to participating more in the forums again. This plover is flapping after a bath in a tidal pool. The sun had just set, and I didn't have much light to work with, so I was happy to get a couple sharp frames.

    I really like the earth tones of browns and soft blues in this image.
    The soft light is lovely.
    The IQ is very good and the wing blur is just right.
    HA is not in the "correct " angle but looks just fine as the head is angled the right way to catch the light and illuminate the face,

    Nice to see you posting again, Aidan. What a super capture with great IQ and gorgeous hues. Head angle looks great as does the low angle at which you photographed this. Love the water spray and the movement in the wings.

    Looking forward to seeing more!!!
