Hi, everyone, here's another theme image. It is a Blue Grey Gnatcatcher (I think). I used Topaz Detail Light and then a texture from Shadowhouse. Then Topaz B&W Eggplant, added kanji that means "essence", changed the Color Balance a tad and then added another Texture to further change some of the subtle colors.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

I absolutely love this Cheryl. It's so simple and elegant. The tones you've achieved are very peaceful and pleasing lending itself well to the theme. I could go on and on.

Cheryl, I love the narrow vertical and the single bird on a perch look. Nice Asian feel to it too. I might tone down the brightest spots just a touch. Nicely done.

I like the texture, it looks Asian to me and goes well with the cute little gnatcatcher. Nice filter work. I agree with Denise on toning down the whites a bit.

Beautiful composition, Cheryl. I love the pose and the perch. Wonderful bg... I too think of toning down the white just a bit. Excellent processing.

Great image, Cheryl...nicely composed, nicely processed....as strong as is it like this, I'd love to see one with a hint of color brushed back in (a matter of personal taste..just thinking out loud!)....good work!

Thanks, everyone. John, unfortunately there was almost no color in the image to brush back in - gray bird, gray or dark gray background and gray stick I added the second texture to bring in a touch of color. Maybe I could add another texture with more color. I'll try toning down the white areas also.
