Hi Dumay, a cracking portrait with your characteristic IQ as ever. A slight tweak in Levels I feel will give it a bit more 'pop', but personal choice, worth a try.
Killer BKG, great image!

Dumay,
Truly wonderful, stupendous detail, great BG![]()
Thanks guys...Steve I tried your suggestion, levels and add 12, 1.00, 227
Figures are suggestive Dumay and I might have applied a mask for the nose, eye stripe and the corner of the eye to ensure the darker areas do not fill in/choke, however you get the idea and you can adjust accordingly, however, WDYT?

Dumay,
As far as I can tell the re-post has in reality just made the blacks blacker and although there is a slight improvement on the fur, the nose seems to have lost a slight something.
I all honesty I would have left it as was
Hi Dumay,
just can echo Steve`s critic, wonderful close portrait with lovely colors and superb detail visible. The Rp is even a tad better , quite an improvement.
Like your PP very much , Dumay.
When i one day, will be again in SA, i book a course with you![]()
!!
LOve 99% of your images.
Cheers Andreas
Thanks again...I agree I should have masked the nose and eye stripe.
Andreas, no problem...we could share our tricks.
No worries Dumay, meant to add that in my OP, but you can adjust later when you have a minute.
Andreas, lets put it in the pipeline, but no putting your towel down in the front seatAndreas, no problem...we could share our tricks.Dumay, concessions on Rack rates I assume?

To secure prime place, something that was done at pool side or beach.
Now back to Critiquing.

Cracking portrait bud. Lovely IQ as mentioned. Gotta love it when you get the amber in the eye to pop like this.
I like the RP except for the choked up blacks, good suggestion by Steve, I normally paint back to darker areas through a mask after adding some 'oomph'
When is the "trick-sharing" party?![]()
Thanks for the HI Jack guysJust kidding
13 comments, same 4 guys...Anyway thanks for the comments!
Nice simple composition Dumay. Like the clarity and color of the RP but the slightly softer OP works for me as well.
