    Leica 560mm f/6.8 Telyt-R
    shoulder stock & braced on truck window sill
    shutter speed not recored, lens used at f/6.8

    One of the best images I have seen of this species. Unique and a very nice angle.
    Just nitpicking, I would move it to the right and add a bit of contrast.

    Wow. Great bittern image. Around here I never see them except half-hidden in marsh reeds, and then only rarely. Wonderful pose, snow flurries, bg. Another vote for Dan K's suggestions above.

    Unique seeing some snow with the bittern, I like that alot. I like the grassy FG too. If anything I'd add some top and left if you have it, but it is good as is too. Thanks for participating in the theme!
