Default Reddish Egret - one wing out

Reddish egret captured short after a landing. One of my favorites from my first and very short trip to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

    Shooting info:
    Nikon d300s | 500 f/4 VR + 1.4x
    700mm | 1/800" | f/6.3 | ISO 320

Processing info: Bumped up the contrast and added a little more room to the right. For a before and after, check out an old blog post.

Comment and critiques on the shot and processing are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Feel free to take the image and adjust as you please to post back.

Hi Miguel, strong subject matter you got here with the outstrecthed wing and prey item freshly plucked out of the water. Sharp, and I like the low angle. Very appealing overall. Just a wee bit flat, and needs some saturation, my repost hopefully addresses that (lowered the midtones just a few points, and added +20 (!) saturation).
