    Default Altar of the St. Louis Basilica

    This was one of the few images where I used something other than a wide angle lens; this was taken with the 70-200mm@70mm, f/11. The image is a 9-shot HDR, blended and tone-mapped in Photomatix, some tweaks to color and tone done with NIK ColorEfex and Topaz. There won't be too many more of these...time to move on to something new...so hang in there .

    John, I like this as much or better than the wide angle shots. The lighting again is beautiful and I love the rich colors

    I like this one best! Great lighting, pleasing colors and the detail is outstanding.

    I haven't gotten tired of this series! Excellent framing and capture of details. Mixed feelings about that wonderful blue at the top--it pulls my eye, yet adds some pop. I could go with it in or out. Wish there were a little more detail on the Christ figure, but perhaps not possible due to lighting. Great job!
