I love the light in this! That golden light is hard to beat! I'm not very advanced in post processing, but for my eye, this needs some shadow adjustment on the turtles to bring focus to them. I did a quick edit with CS 5 (shadow/highlight adjustment working on a layer mask and adjusted the opacity so the shadow adjustment was primarily on the turtles), and cropped just a bit from the bottom and right side. Just an idea from a different set of eyes...

The light is really nice here. I like the way Jeannean's rework has brought up the shadows some. Now you can see some detail in the turtle's faces. If a lower angle were possible and still capture the golden water, I would have gone for that.

This is a great turtle photo. I like that way Jeannean's rework brought out the turtles' heads as well.

    Kostas,

Nice use of light, very well done, that is really golden. The opportunity is the subject placement maybe more to the right and minimize the large rock on the right hand side. Jeannean offers a good repost highlighting eye and body detail. Nice moment in nature, consider the flash and soft box attachment to add more fill-light in the future.
