    Default Red Kite

    Taken in Stokenchurch, UK.
The sun was hiding behind the clouds from time to time, so it was a bit tricky to achieve good exposure. On this one, the sun was behind the bird.
    Taken with Canon 1D3 and 21 y/o Canon 300mm f/2.8.
    ISO 500
    1/1250
    f/5.6

Slight crop, levels adjustment, saturation adjustment, slight sharpening.

The plumage looks worn but it is a nice flight shot none the less.

Great eye contact and exposure. Excellent sharpness. For me the worn feathers add to the image. I might try to darken the brightest area shining through the tail feathers.
