    Default Tern in flight...

    I am learning flight photography with 500mm and here is one from a recent shoot.. BG isn't something I like but this is what I got

    Canon 7D | 500mm | f/7.1 | 1/2000 | ISO 400

    Hi Sachin, well placed in the frame, and I like the flight pose. Overall, well exposed, eye shows up well in the dark cap, and his fish a bonus. I would maybe tone the fish down a touch.

    This is magnificent image.Love flight pose with nice wing position,lights and details.

    You've nailed this, Sachin. Exposure is spot on. Sharpness, comp, pose -all great. Fish is icing on the cake. Nice work!

    nice pose and good details. the fish is a big plus. the hint of clouds in the BG add some flavor too

    On my screen the beak reds look a bit oversat

    Nice eye contact. The fish adds so much to this shot. I wish the background had some variation rather than flat blue, which makes the shot more static. But I'm sure you did the best you could with what nature gave you.

    Sachin, although BG is sky, the angle does not appear too steep...so it works for me. Awesome subject angle. Whites look very good and a nice shiny fish.

    No suggestions from my end...the size and placement of the tern couldn't have been better.
