    Default Little Owl

    Hi All,

I've finally managed to find a pair of Little Owl not too far away from me, here's one of the images from last nights session. Hopefully more to come.

    Canon 7D and Canon 500mm F4 IS - 1/250 ISO 400 F4

    Best Regards,

    Carl.

I like the design of this image. Maybe a tiny bit less at the top and more at the bottom.

    Cheers Ofer,

I know what you mean, unfortunately I've got no more at the bottom. I've looked at taking a little from the top but for some reason it didn't look quite right, a bit squashed.

I shot this from a car so until they cut the hedges I'm kinda stuffed. Hopefully they'll start topping them soon and I can give it another go. I'd like to get the same image in the Winter / Fall maybe with a little snow.

I'll let you know how I get on.

    Cheers,

    Carl.

    Carl,

I am more used to grass and branches being in the way, hedges would be an entirely new difficulty for me.

    Marvelous image

Love it! Great IQ, and the look on the owl's face is priceless. Love the tree hole it is perched in. I agree with Ofer's comp suggestion, but it seems you have none more at bottom. Still an awesome image...well done! Is the image a bit too green? Here is a repost addressing that (I hope!)

P.S. Your image file is too large, just keep in mind it should be 250kb at most...
