Default One last Eagle in flight.

I know you are probably bored with Eagle shots but I thought one more and I'll give everyone a break! Image is from last March. Bird is picking up some of my bait scraps I had thrown for the gulls. I cloned out a few dark objects from the sand. In about 6 weeks I will be fishing again and hope to capture some fresh Eagle images. Shot is a 50 percent crop. Bird is about twenty feet from the camera.

I really like this shot. The talons out and up for striking and I can image what is just out of the frame and locked into his line of sight. Excellent control on the exposure is giving you great detail in the whites and sharpness looks spot on to me. Oh, and I'm not bored at all with the shots.

Terrific flight shot. Great exposure. I like the outstretched talons, and the shadow gives a good feeling for how close he is to the ground.

Man those claws look awesome!! Great pose and look of concentration. Too bad the wing is not well lit though, and I wish what looks like tire tracks in the sand were not there...but high-impact image!

The sun angle and shadow hurt you a bit, but this a terrific landing image.
The talons are super and the pose is very nice.

Thank you all very much for the comments! I did bump up the under wing brightness a bit but perhaps not enough. Still learning!

Very cool shot. Nice lighting and wing spread.
