The 2 in the FG are stunning , but the soft flower in the Bg seems to be a big distraction. Would like to see a crop with just the 2 in the image.

Lovely, Bob. I think if this were mine, I might crop a little from the top and left and darken the OOF bloom above just a wee bit.

A horizontal crop showing only the the two water lilies in the foreground would work for me but your image, your vision.
I like the colors, position and details of the lilies in the foreground...nicely done.

Bib, I agree that the background flower is a little distracting but probably because it is blurred. I like the way you are using the glow effect and your flower images have really been a treat to view!

Bob, I'm really enjoying your images of water lilies....I agree, the lily in the BG is just blurred enough that it becomes more of a distraction than a complimentary element (IMHO)...I love the processing, the two in the foreground are so well captured, and have beautiful lines from the pads nesting them into the composition...good eye!

Hi Folks!....thanks for the comments, suggestions, and encouragement. I think I will darken the oof flower as Maureen suggested to make it less of a distracting element. Thanks again!

Bob, I like Maureen's suggestion about darkening the oof flower. I like having the 3 lilies because it has such a nice flow to it.

I love the processing and the 2 lilies in the foreground look very good. I agree with the suggestions for cropping or darkening the lily in back.

Hi Bob, agree with the previous comments. Very nicely filtered and arrangement of the blossoms. If it were mine I would evict the tiny bright spec along the bottom edge in the middle.
