Not a big fan of the "grung" look , but I think it works well on this one. Took the original and tone mapped it in Nik HDR EFEX Pro 2 then into Topaz adjust for some final tweeks.
Interested in all thoughts.

Overall I like it, but have a problem with the stark contrast between the guy and the background. He's so grunge and the bkgrd is so green and natural and soooo blurred. There seems to be a dark halo around him as if he were standing against a wall when a flash went off---see the outer edge of the arms especially for this. Was this because of a blurring brush? Good eye contact.
I like this a lot, Joe. The grunge works really well here. I think if it were mine, I'd try darkening the background a bit. I don't know if this is cropped, but I'd love a little more space on top and the rest of the bike mirror (which has the coolest reflection.)
Joe, I like the grunge look you created and it is a perfect subject for the look. I might reduce the degree of blurring in the background if it were mine. Nice work!
Joe, I'm late to the party, but good suggestions made above...you might even try replacing the background with a pure black....there's so much tone and definition in the vest and helmet that you'd still have separation....just a thought.
Joe, I like the grunge look for the biker. I agree that a darker background or less blurred background would probably work better.

Hi Joe, I am the "Grungy Biker". I'm not sure how you made my arms and face look so "Grungy" but it's your art. Could I ask you to send me a few images?
Thanks,
Mike
