One of the best puffin portraits I have seen. Colors are killer. You have the environment with the flowers, grass and water. Lovely pose.

Such a lovely portrait! The grassy perch and flowers, combined with the deep blue background make this photo for me. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. The bill appears a bit washed out; I might try reducing the exposure on it a bit.

    Hi Mike,

You captured my dream image with beautiful blue BG, Perch with flowers and single Puffin with perfect HA..Excellent exposure and sharpness...Looking at it's cheek it looks like a first year adult but I am not sure.

Beautiful colours, detail, low angle, and the flowers really make it, too.

This is so good it looks like a setup.
It is about perfect, I don't know how anyone could get a nicer portrait of this bird.
    Congratulations on an excellent image.
