    Default Another WTK!

Unlike shorebirds, I never get bored photographing these gorgeous birds! I hope you don't get bored by seeing the photos either

Arash, this is sharp and well exposed with good details...fantastic flight angle, head turn and BG. I don't get bored by shore birds either so keep them coming. Composition wise I would be interested to see how it looks with bird slightly higher in frame.

thanks Sachin, in this case higher in the frame will not work because it will make the shooting angle look steep.

Superb image with great head turn.
That 600 is working well for you.
Have you tried a 1DX yet? How is it for flight?

Hey Don, as of now I have decided to skip 1DX but the lens is awesome. Did you get yours yet?

How in Hades anyone could get bored photographing shorebirds is an unsolvable mystery. Nice shot, Arash! Kites are pretty lovely. Of course I've never seen one in person. I like your photos of them and George Lepp's too. Thus concludes my exposure to kites of the bird variety!

This is marvelous, can I ask if you are hand-holding the lens as I am torn between the 500mm and 600mm (when they get here)

    Hi Ken,
Yes all images I post here are handhold. 600 is the choice IMO
