This Fish Eagle pair posed proudly, above their domain Lake Mburu, taken from a rather tatty and not exactly stable boat.

We did get a very brief glimpse of an extreme rarity an African Finfoot, no images I am afraid as it was in its usual habitat the waters edge buried in foliage.

    Hi Ken,

You captured really lovely pair. I liked the way both birds looking in same direction, details especially in whites, perch and composition. You did really great job in an unstable boat.

Ken - nicely captured duo. Comp works very well and you've brought out good detail.

Love this portrait of the pair. Nice angles on both. Terrific light. Nice environment and comp.
