Gorgeous image of a gorgeous bird ... love the ventral view and the eye contact!
    Excellent exposure and detail!

I'm seeing just a tad of a halo around the bird's right wing.

Nice under wing light Steve, beautiful wing form especially with the tail feathers spread as well, can also see a slight halo as mentioned by Mike

Beautiful! Excellent wing positions, and I like the comp. I too love the talons, and their cast shadows. I wonder if you can lighten the far eye just a tad.

That's a good idea Daniel. I gave it a try. Didn't want to go to far with it, but I think it still improves the image just a bit. What do you think? Brighten a bit more? Thanks.

    Hi Steve,

Perfect flight shot. Love the fanned tail, feather details, talons and light. Re-post looks better.

Terrific image, Steve. The pose is incredible and so is the light and IQ. Those talons (with the shadow) are fantastic.

Killer capture you have here. Love the eye contact, the talons and the stunning fanned tail. Lightening the far eye did help an already stunning image.

The repost looks super...all it needed was that small tweak to make a big difference!
