    Charissa, I like this. It is a different crop than we normally see and that caught my eye. Sharp, very nice background, appropriate perch. Might want to take care of the small strands right behind him near the perch.

    Sweet bird Charissa and perching so very nicely, a different composition with such a wide aspect, maybe it would work a little better if the different background color on the left was the same all over. Looks like the light was strong bringing out the colors well, just a bit bright sheen wise on the back....but an enviable shot

    Good detail and sharpness. Is this much of a crop? I find the bg somewhat distracting and if it is not already a big, I would think about a more vertical presentation.

    Judging by the colours of the beak, this juvenile is not far short of achieving adulthood.

    Your composition is very different and interesting, if you like it keep it like it is

    Thanks everyone. I quite like the BG colors, felt it was something a bit different than the norm, thus the comp and image as is.
    Do appreciate the nice comments, and will definitely see what this shot would look like with the advised changes. :)
