This guy just loves to sit and call. Very co-operative bird but always comes out in the darker , shaded areas. Fill flash a must.

    1250 ISO f5.6 at 1/80th
    AP plus 2/3
    Fill at Minus 2 600f4 with 1.4
Very slight crop and cloned out some poop on the rock.

Great calling pose, beautiful background and nice perch, Joe. Plumage looks very nice good DOF and good use of flash.
If it were mine, I would use linear dodge on the inside of the beak, to bring out more details.

    Fantastic pose, perch, and BG!

Comp is a little tight for my taste, especially on the left.

    Hi Joe,

Beautiful bird. Love the sharpness, perch, feather details, calling pose and background. I am agree with Mike for having some more space.

Great image, love the detail, perch and open beak. I am the odd one, as I do like the tight crop, it works for me TFS.

Love it, Joe. The way he's anchoring himself with his little tail shows how much effort he's putting into the call.

Great looking bird Joe, lovely colors and details, like the calling pose and nicely isolated from the backdrop, and I feel too it could do with a little more space on the left, but no biggy

Joe - very well done. I like the calling pose, detail and the bg. Tight comp works for me here.

Joe, excellent angle of the subject...shows off all the details. Such a nice pattern. Good job with the flash and the pose is excellent. agree with suggestions on some more room in front.
