Sometimes I just feel so very small, tiny in fact.
The Shore Plover, global population of less than 250. The department of conservation here in New Zealand have been breeding these on a small off shore island here and they come in to feed where I often shoot. This day there was around 12 feeding. Small and cute, the size of a decent sparrow, some smaller and some larger.
So the small Shore Plover. Heres hoping for many more to come.
Danny.
