    I like the composition and head angles of this bluebird pair, but the female is in the shade. I have used curves to lighten the female and the shaded part of the male. I'd be interested in your comments regarding this image. It was taken in March in a back yard in Tennessee with bird houses in the area.

    Marvelous image of lovely pair of Bluebirds. Very nice composition. Loved the colorful male with nice HA,great details on both birds and their placement in the frame.
    Slight crop on bottom would be great.
    Personally I like the use of shadows and lights in the image.I like the leaves in light and shadow.Nice sky BG too.

    Well I do not share your concerns of the female being in the shadows. It highlights the male in addition to having both in the photo. Good composition and like the habitat. He is the star!
