I don't think I've ever seen a Heron perch so prominently , sits nicely within the frame, nicely isolated on a very smooth simplistic backdrop...liking the fine detail on those feet.

Hi Dumay - Almost looks like a songbird with the pose and size in the frame . IQ looks very good - sharp, nice details and pleasing bg.

That's one well defined Heron Dumay to say the least, colours are brillaint and I dig the way you've added a fair bit of canvas to the left instead of "caging" the bird with a tight crop.

Hi mate, bet you are missing your old 'hunting' ground. Excellent IQ, well placed in the frame, and I like detail and overall colours. Nice and sharp too.

Killer BG and excellent detail and exposure!

I really like the loose composition (esp. with that BG) but might consider moving bird a bit up and to the right,
i.e. a bit more toward the URC if you have the room.

Dumay, loved the BG and the eye-level shooting angle. I like this head position as well. Well done as usual. I'd have probably cropped a tiny bit from right...but thats just personal preference.

    Dumay,

An "absolute blinder" as us Cockneys would say, generally you never find these in such a good position, fabulous
