A beautiful capture, Bob! I like the curved element in the bg.
Bob, I'm jealous...MOBOT (Missouri Botanical Gardens) won't be having water lilies in the ponds this year (Chinese Lantern Exhibition pre-empted the planting)...I'm missing the opportunity to shoot these beautiful flowers. Nicely done..the curve adds a nice element....love the perspective.
Bob, I love this image - the dark background contrasting with the greens in the lily and the best part is the curving stem. Beautiful image![]()

I agree with everyone else, that curving stem in the bkgd is the coup de grace! And you have a great technique for making those greens glow! The composition is elegant.
Bob, Nice job with the curved stem, background and slight glow are perfect!
I agree with all the previous comments! It's a lovely image. The shape of the flower is beautiful and the curving stem really adds to the overall effect.
Love the glow. Great light, and as others have said, the curved stem adds just that little extra something...
An unusual color! Nicely done. The curving stem (?) adds nice frame.
