From Brigantine on Sunday. It's almost impossible at this location to get the tides, sun and wind all to cooperate. The sun here was too far to the side, and since the tide was ebbing, the terns chose this spot to get their breakfast. But I think the fill flash helped ease the problem a bit.

Nice composition and I really like the various shades of green in the layered BG.
Wing position is nice as well.
I wish for a more visible eye (maybe dodge it a bit?)

The BG is awesome, I agree with Gail about the eye, but they always look like this to me.
Very challenging to get the exposure I think, and flash fill did a nice job.

Bill - there's a certain elegance to the wing position, the bowed head and the bg. Nicely captured.

Beautiful wing form Bill and contrasting well with the backdrop, rather fond of the color transition in the back drop too, beautifully done.
