    on sunday went to get some more images of whinchat,but they would not play ball,however some stonechats did,this is one of the images.cannon 500mm IS L USM 700MM FL,7D,ISO320.F8,1/200SEC.CROPPED,SHARPENED,SOME LEVELS.comments good or bad.thanks,

    Marvelous image of talking (or calling..) Stonechat.
    Very nice pose with staring straight and open mouth.Love the beautiful perch,superb BG,the colors of stonechat and great details.

    I really like the calling pose and and the diffused light. Love how well you can see down into his mouth.
    The perch is a bit busy and pulls my eye downward.

    I like the way BOTH eyes can be seen so clearly. I'd like to see a little bit cropped off the bottom -- leading one's eye quickly to the bird.

    Hi Chris, you certainly have your Chats mastered, and well timed to capture this pose with the open beak and direct eye contact. Excellent exposure, sharp, and Im fine with the leafy perch.

    I like the perch other than the one oof leaf, but nothing you can do.
    Pose is nice and exposure looks perfect.
