    Default St. Louis Basilica III

For this image I wanted to try to give a different perspective of the scale of the building...24-105mm@50mm, f/11, 8 shot HDR with exposures ranging from 1.3 seconds to 8 seconds. Tweaked a bit with NIK Detail Extractor and Tonal Contrast; a color blend from a layer of Topaz BuzzSim. Slight crop from LHS and bottom.

John, as usual, very impressive. As a fellow St. Louisan who hasn't been to the Basilica in at least twenty years, I'm going to have to make a point of getting there soon. Your photos have reminded me just how beautiful it is. Well done.

I like the OP! Love those vibrant colors! I LOVE this image! So much going on, yet the Madonna does not get lost. Love all those curves and shapes. Excellent.

John, Very nicely done. I vote somewhere in between the two.

I really like number 4 mate

To be honest John, I still like the warmer tones in the original you posted. I do like warm tones more, just a me thing. Fantastic details and lighting and that comes down to you mainly with what you have done here. Wonderful to see such details. Impressive work and result.

All the best John, totally in awe of this place.

    Danny.

Very strong image! Composition is powerful with great upward sweep, and the HDR is realistic. You can play with the color balance back and forth, but whereever you finally settle would be fine to me. Great.
