    Very nice portrait Joel. Perfect head angle. The eye is so clean and sharp I can barely take my attention away from it. I am somehow hypnotized!

    Here I see it as quite dark. Underexposed by almost 1 2/3 stops.

    I see the same underexposed image, but with very nice detail. I'm sure you can bring up the exposure in post.

    I was working in a darkened motel room last night so as not to disturb my spouse ... as a result I did not assess the image brightness correctly .... here is a better rendition

    Much better,..nice whites and very sharp feather detail. Really like the way the whites were exposed. Excellent exposure techs leveraging the f/9.0 considering the background was muted anyway better using a narrow aperture. Really excellent home technique not waking the wife.

    Nice repost Joel, the original was way down in the whites. Nice composition and detail, love the eye!
