    Hunting over reedbed

    Limited by the power of the 100-400 I think I did well to get this. I often see Harriers 3 or 4 /day sometimes but they are never close.
    Just managed to get as he passed by, and although he was moving away , I like the sneaky little look over the wing.

    I have trouble catching these guys. Nice to get him with some habitat, and an eye showing. Nicer still if you had caught him before he was moving away.

    Certainly has his eye on you, Phantom of the Opera style lol...a little grainy sadly, but well caught, I've only seen a couple of these and so far and no image worth keeping sadly
