    Default Comeuppance

This is our dogs at play when Lina was a puppy and the comeuppance for the older male, Cientos. Cientos is a Breed Champion Standard Poodle and always let everyone know that he was, well, The Champ. We knew he would have his hands full with a puppy and thought of Lina as his special comeuppance. Little did we know that it wouldn't be long before we would be sighing... Poor Cientos.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

That looks like it was going to hurt...going B&W gives this a gritty, textured appearance. I agree with Danny...nice timing.

Great action Michael - I like the texture of the hair - it looks great in black and white

Michael, they sure look like they are fighting and not playing. Beautiful looking dogs and I like the texture on the hair.

    Danny, John, Cheryl, Paul, Denise,

Thanks much for the comments. Denise, they are indeed playing, though Cientos (the chomper here) is going to get the worst of it because puppies (Lena is a few months old in this photo) have very sharp little baby teeth and actually get away with murder with the adult dogs. The adults usually come away with pretty good bites (breaking skin) while the pups just a good pinch. When we had our first dogs, we worried at the roughness and had a very experienced dog trainer observe them... just playing . But she did recommend that be have the adult male's hair cut back a bit so the little one wouldn't pull so much out (he was getting bald spots on his chest).

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
