Photographed in my favourite park in South Africa, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. A dashing little goshawk, quite confiding and less skulking than most accipiters, making them great photographic subjects.

Camera Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark II
    Date/Time: 2007:04:14 08:18:46
    Shutter speed: 1/3200 sec
    Aperture: 6.3
    Exposure mode: Av
    Flash: Off
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 400
    Lens: 500mm
    Focal length: 700mm

A beautiful, sharp image, Chris. I love the look of concentration on its face. No suggestions except that I might like to see a little more room in the frame.

Perfect, plus I like it for all the reasons mentioned above. The feet are way cool.
