Must say, that is one heck of a nice place John. I like the smooth even lighting and of course, thats what you are after. Beautiful looking colours and no uneven highlights. Very well done and handled. If only more people would use it like this, well it would be a pleasure.

I do love the details and clarity you obtained using HDR. I also like that you left the image looking normal, not overly saturated. Very nice work! The only thing I'd change is darkening the bright area along lower border to the right of the fountain. Not a big deal. Thanks for explaining your new way of using Simplify--I will try it soon. Always happy to learn new tricks.

Beautiful repost and great processing. I especially like the way the fountain looks.
)...then, once the filter has been applied, change the blend mode on the layer to Color and then tweak the opacity if necessary. It seems to add more than just simple saturation...maybe I'm fooling myself!...but I like the look. Heading down to the St. Louis Basilica this morning...
