    Default small butterfly in the evening.

    Butterflies I always shoot in the early morning or late evening.
    They are not active, and remain motionless.
    The advantage of the evening is that there is no dew on the butterfly.

    Great lighting......... no make that........ wonderful lighting !!. Very clean shot showing excellent sharp details and all on a perfect background. Congrats on a superb image IMO. Nice work from behind the camera.

    This is one sweet image, perfectly composed in the frame and eye catching fine detail...cant find any fault with this fine work....and good tips on when to photograph them

    Hi Carel....loving everything about this-...the textures in the bfly wing, sharpness, clean bg, and wonderful perch!. You might consider a slight vignette for this image.
