An old one slightly reworked on the BPN background colour. Done in both Photoshop and Photoimpact.

A rose taken against an ugly slate fence, texture applied, perspective tools, warped, leaves and head separated and posted back in, shadows added, lighting effects and a Crystal sphere. Could add the lights in, but it gets a bit much, so left them out.

    All the best folks.

    Danny.

Just picking my non artistic jaw off the table ...very creative Danny, ethereal, eye catching and thought provoking ...even though I cant get my head around what it symbolizes, it has some meaning that escapes my mere human brain lol

Very cool, Danny; the rose and the leaf emerging from the background...the "solarized" look of the stem and leaves left behind...and beautiful lighting. Now...my mind went to the days of silver halide film (the background), the rose and leaf emerging into the digital world...and the crystal ball the seer of the future. And so far all I've had is coffee...lol...when's Happy Hour?

Wonderfully creative, Danny. The colors against the steel gray is a stark contrast. I could see the crystal ball shaped as a tear also - being shed for their impermanence (nope I haven't had a beer yet today)

Wow, that is super creative and very well done! The crystal ball is a terrific plus.
