    Taken this a few weeks ago in my local quarry,cannon500mm IS L USM,7D,700MM FL,TRIPOD,F5.6,1/400s,iso800,cropped,sharpened,nr BG,comments good or bad.thanks.

    Good title!
    I like the IQ and the pose.
    I also like the diagonal lines of the head position and the rocks.
    I find the BG a bit distracting and would burn the white areas.I would also evict the round white area between the chicks feet as it looks like bird droppings.

    Nice little fuzz ball ! Like the diagonal rock strata and head angle in this, sharp and nicely exposed, but maybe could be a tad brighter on the birds body...depending on monitor viewed on...nicely shot Chris

    Chris - cute and puffy! I like the diagonal also. Nice detail and sharpness. I took the image into CS5 and think that a luminosity mask at about 25% helps make the bg less distracting. Btw the image does not have a color profile assigned.

    Ahh, too cute! I too love the diagonal of the ground and the stance the chick has taken to keep level. Good details. Love the FG, the BG not as much, but that is what it was...you can try taming some of those whites up there. I'd love to see the area around the eye and lores lightened.
