This spoonbill was having a tough time hanging on. It was a very windy day at the S.A. Alligator Farm early this week. Canon 40D, 1/2500, f/5.6, Canon 100-400 IS.
The soft light is very very nice. The soft colors look really appealing also. The raised foot and soft clouds are look great.
Different pose but I like it.
I like it too but for the lost feet--they are sort of lost in the bush...

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the space issue. This was my first day using a 40D after primarily using a 5D, so I'm adjusting to the differences.
