This gets extra points for cuteness factor and making me smile! Tack sharp and great BG.
My only wish is that we could see both eyes equally.
    A really sweet shot!

Great inquisitive pose/posture and definite cuteness factor with good detail and sharpness. Well done, Phil!

Inquisitive pose, nice background. I too wish that we could see both eyes, or just one. The hollow of the one in shadow isn't too pleasing.

Yes, cute indeed!! Well exposed and sharp. Love the little tail sprung up. Not crazy about the perch (what is it?) and reducing the sahdow in the far eye's "shallow" would certainly help. I would also prefer a less centered composition.

Super cute for sure. Beautiful pose and BG. I agree with the comments above; mostly with seeing the 2nd eye would be very good. Composition could indeed be better too. The perch makes me wonder, but doesn't bother be that much. Well done and TFS.

    Goofy, cute pose, Phil.
You seem to get really close-up shots, nice job.

Taa....I try to get withing at least 20 feet of very small birds before I consider it worthwhile to press the shutter..and an awful lot of time lugging camera gear through a lot of inhospitable terrain
