Default Hello from Wanstead in London

    Hello
A quick intro - been into photographing birds for some years now, never really devoted the time - real life (wife, kiddos, work) keeps getting in the way. Recently though I find myself taking it more seriously, planning more and so on. I'm a patch birder first and foremost, but never without my camera, which I take most often in place of a scope.
I'm a Canon user, not that it makes any difference, still tons to learn.
    Best wishes
    Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, welcome to BPN!! I can relate when it comes to other responsibilities getting in the way of bird photography. Lots of fun when I am able to get out. Looking forward to your images

Hi, thanks for the messages. Let me see if I can work out how to put an image up. If I cannot, then what I currently consider my best bird shots can be found at www.justbirdphotos.com.
It's funny actually, and I guess this happens to us all, but what I thought were beyond brilliant a few years ago I now delete without a seconds hesitation. Partly the internet is responsible - I see all these great shots and realise my efforts were and remain meagre. That said I've moved forward loads in the last 24 months, and nobody became a great bird photographer overnight.
