    Default Australian Pelican - breeding pair

    1D Mark IV, Canon 800 f5.6, 1/1250, f7.1, iso 800, HH

    Taken this evening minutes before sunset. These pelicans swim together as part of their courtship ritual. The nice colours on their beaks will disappear as soon as the eggs are laid.

    ofer what a great image like how you got both together in the pano shot never knew about the bill colours in breeding until i saw your pic couple months ago always like seeing your pics

    Magnificent panaroma-crop image of lovely pair of Pelican in beautiful golden lights.
    Very nice pose,superb colors and lovely BG.Love the great details on Pelicans and their color reflections in water.

    Very well done - I love the light on the birds, and you positioned well to avoid cutting behind the head/neck with the transition to the darker water. Excellent head angles.

    What a cool duo, Ofer. Light is to die for, and the pano crop works so well with these poses and the low angle. Love it.

    Nice low shooting angle, beautiful light and great looking almost identical pose. The colourful reflection og the beak boost the overall presentation. Excellent picture, Ofer.
