    Hi John,
    I like the fact that you used the arch as a framing element. Judging by the shadows.......I think the light is a little harsh.......but as is nicely composed.

    Good composition and using the window to frame supports the name as well.

    John,

    Really like the composition here - the river, the splash of sky and the framing. Well done.

    For the contrast, use a reverse s-curve in a curves adjustment. I did in the repost. It opens up the contrast and lowers the highlights.
