Superbly beautiful. I would suggest a small crop from below to eliminate the two leaves (???) on the frame-edge just below the undertail coverts and in the lrh corner. Doing so would make a great image even stronger as they currently draw the viewer's eye away from the subject a bit.

Very nice image John. I am tad jealous, as I have not yet seen this species. Maybe you can in Sydney's far west where I live, just never came across it yet. Where abouts did you capture this beautiful lapwing?
A lower angle would have been awesome. But I do like the fact that you had included all the flowers and the earthy surrounds also make it warm and aesthetically pleasing for my taste.
