Hi Viv, stunning light, and just love the IQ in this. You have brought out the fine plumage detail nicely, and I do like the angled perch. Good DOF too. I really like this lots.

    Hi,

Love the pose and the lighting, especially the almost 3-D effect on the bird's underside. Might consider some more bg blurring on the right.

    WOW Vivaldo,
This is stunning. The light, the BG is like a Rembrandt painting.
I like the diagonal perch and the head position and the overall feel of the image.

Beautifully perched and detailed, agree the background looks extra nice. He looks extra brown in color....juvenile coloring maybe ?

Vivaldo, bird looks great...comp. is perfect...great light. Awesome details. Eye is the best part.

I might be in minority, but am afraid I am not liking the painting look. Not sure why that dark outline is there around the right side of the bird. some collateral damage due to branches removal?

Thanks very much for comments it's appreciated Phil the light was very warm, just before sunset but it could be that I add a bit to much saturation. Kaustubh the original raw file was full of branches unfortunately. I managed to get others with a better BG but the bird is not as good as this one.
