Tiger Swallowtail, Bumblebee on Wild Bergamot. Not really macro, I guess. I was set up for birds which weren't being cooperative when I came across a clump of flowers with lots of bee and butterfly activity. Cloned out a bit of BG distraction.

Hi Bill...You nailed ths sharpness on this and handled the bg well. I also enjoyed your composition of three and the similar triangular shapes of flower and butterfly. TFS

Hi Bill. I too like the overall composition as well as the BG. I was looking for something to offer as constructive criticism and son't really find anything. It looks great to me.

I looked at this and said WOW - outloud! This is really something else, I love the composition and the colours, the sharpness and detail are excellent, the position of the butterfly couldn't be better, the tail is not overlapping the plant beneath and then to top it off you have a cute little bumble bee in focus too!! This is special, I really like it.

Hi Bill. Great use of your very long "macro" rig! The butterfly posed nicely for you, everything is sharp, good comp, and the subjects stand out well from the background. Very well done!

I like this image because it is of a view I see in my garden. But, I'm not a butterfly photographer, so I appreciate this image. Lovely colors. The beautiful Bergamont flowers are a treat for me.
