    Hi John,

    I find the white very hot in the neck and chess. The rock in the BG is a huge distraction. I would also add a little more sharpening.

    I like the classic pose but this image might do better in eager to learn. On top of what Maxis mentioned the cropping it too tight and there is a blue cast to the image.

    Nice specimen and eye contact. I agree with the other comments and you could have avoided by moving to your right.

    I see that the crop is a little tight, I agree about the hot whites which have been discussed in depth here. As far as the background it was my intent to get just what I did in the background. I didnt want a sterile background. I do agree that with just the water in the background it would be nice. Personal taste. I do appreciate all the comments. I have learned much on this forum.
